Research interests

My research interests are in the area of critical illness insurance, mortality modelling, actuarial pricing and life insurance. In particular I am interested in the application of Bayesian modelling and inference to insurance claims data; stochastic modelling of mortality and morbidity rates (especially Critical Illness Insurance diagnosis inception rates). I am also a member of the modelling team of the ESRC Centre for Population Change.
